The Little Things...Are Big Things

Little Painted Canyon, AZ

This man is my hero. I could tell you a million things I love about Scott, but I’ll save those for another post. Right now I’m choosing one.

So often Scott has his camera in his hand. If not, it is always easily accessible. Capturing all the parts of God’s creation is a passion of his. He appreciates the tiny details that most people pass up. He sees profound value in both the grand as well as the seemingly insignificant.

Scott teaches our kids to do the same. One kid stops and documents the edible flowers and plants, while one is back looking at the flows and twists in the tree bark. They are awestruck by rock formations and rainstorms rolling in. We are always waiting for someone as they capture “the most beautiful” thing they’ve seen. This makes my heart sing!

This might not seem significant but so many people don’t stop. So many just bustle past in the hurry of the day. I LOVE that Scott is an example to our kids to appreciate the beauty that flourishes all around us.

Keep an eye on our market page as we will be uploading some of his prints for sale soon. And don’t forget to take a moment and enjoy the beautiful creation that surrounds us!
